LIRIC

I bought these like a month ago and I have not stopped using them I love the fit and finish of the lirics, on sound I am surprised I didn’t really believe these headphones had “3D soundstage” but they do, it’s not as good as a set of open backs but it’s there and it’s a pleasant surprise and even without noise canceling they do take a lot of sound out of the environment.

Only complaint is the lirics do not come with other ear pads for all the advertisement about sound quality it surprised me they didn’t include a pair different ear pads do indeed make a difference and they are abit tricky to replace.

Seriously impressed with the Meze liric. It easily sounds better in almost every regard than my abyss Diana v2. I don’t know what camp you are in concerning burn in, but these seriously came alive after playing some white noise through them in overnight. I really considered returning them initially because of how shrill they sounded. I’m so happy I didn’t! I know the internet seems tepid on the liric, but the thing is- the reviews you are watching are from normal humans, not super listeners with godly observational skills. You can see a huge difference between measurements by crinacle and measurements from resolve (using the same exact measurement rig), and to me that was almost the final nail in the coffin of caring about graphs concerning audio. Listen to things and make your own judgements without referencing charts and curves, you’ll live a happier more fulfilled audiophile life without constantly comparing the specs of cans. In a nutshell I’d recommend these over many things that cost much more, they’re really really great.
